On September 11 a new account, u/doyou_au, dropped a link into r/Fingerboard with almost no ceremony: a documentary, filmed in Sydney, about five people who hold that city's scene together. The post is four short lines long. No press release, no teaser campaign, no roll-out. Just a YouTube link and a sign-off — "Give it a watch! Let us know your thoughts."
That's the whole announcement. It's also, quietly, one of the more interesting things to land on the subreddit this month, because full-length scene documentaries are rare in fingerboarding. We get park edits, we get product clips, we get the occasional event recap cut to a track that's louder than the trucks. A sit-down film that treats a local scene as a subject with people in it is a different ambition entirely.
