Galo Fingerboard names a deck series after the obstacles, not the riders

The Lego is the one Galo describes: a classic obstacle, the brand writes, unavoidable whether you skate the street or a skatepark. That is the whole premise of the series in one line — graphics drawn from the objects a board actually meets, rather than from a logo lockup or a rider's name. Galo has not published copy for the Grifo and the Cono, so what those graphics do with their subject is best judged from the photos.

It is a coherent move for a brand that also presses its own obstacles. A deck named after a spot fixture and a ledge built in the same workshop belong to the same catalogue, and the series format leaves obvious room to keep going: the list of street objects worth drawing is long.

The practical side matters too. Bottom graphics on a fingerboard wear from slides and grinds, so a series built on bold, legible objects ages better than fine detail — the shape of a cone or a hydrant stays readable long after the edges have gone through. Whether Galo's print holds up under a ledge session is something only time on the boards will answer, and the listing doesn't claim either way.
