Three decks. That is the whole run of the Lauta Fingerboards Joona Hytönen Pro Model Special Edition, which pairs Hytönen's pro graphic with the brand's Spring Edition split-ply layup instead of a plain blank — a combination the listing treats as a one-off rather than a restock.
Lauta printed Joona Hytönen's pro graphic on a split-ply blank and made three
Lauta Fingerboards has listed a Joona Hytönen Pro Model Special Edition: the rider's pro graphic on a Spring Edition split-ply deck, 5-ply birch, 96.5 mm long. The listing says three exist.
Teil 1 von 3
What it is
Lauta lists the deck as 5-ply birch veneer with medium/low concave and medium/low kicks, 96.5 mm long, with FBS Extra Smooth grip included. The brand, run in Finland by Paavo Lepistö since 2023, hand-presses its birch decks and casts its own concrete obstacles, so a short run of three is less a marketing number than what a single press session can reasonably produce.
The split-ply part is where it gets interesting. Split ply means contrasting veneers cut and recombined so the pattern carries through the layup rather than sitting on the surface as print — the edges and the kicks show it as the deck wears. Lauta's listing does not say how the Spring Edition pattern was cut or recombined, or whether the three decks differ from one another in how the veneers landed. With split ply, they usually do.
A few things the listing leaves out: the width, the mold or shape designation, and whether all three decks share identical specs. At the time of writing, Lauta hasn't published those.

Why it lands
Printing a pro graphic onto a split-ply blank is a small decision with a visible consequence. A pro model usually reads as a bottom graphic — and a bottom graphic is the first thing to go once the deck sees ledges and rails. Put it on split ply and the deck keeps a second identity underneath: once the ink wears through, the veneer pattern is still the thing you are looking at.
That is also what makes a three-deck run awkward in the honest way. These are riding specs — medium/low concave, medium/low kicks, a grip choice named on the listing — not shelf specs. Whoever ends up with one has to decide whether to wear the graphic off the thing that makes it rare.

A 34 mm label is no longer enough to predict whether a fingerboard setup will fit
Nominal width is the one number every truck and deck listing confirms, and it is the least useful thing on the page. The five interfaces that actually decide whether your parts bolt together are the ones nobody prints.
