You have roughly thirty-odd dollars and a hole in the park where a ledge should be. The usual answers: a wooden block with angle iron down the lip, or a cast concrete lump that somebody made in a loaf tin and sanded flat.
Radical Fingerboards — the Brookvale shop that's been selling decks, trucks and completes since 2015 — is offering a third option. The Marble Bench is listed on radicalfingerboards.com.au at 36, cut from what the shop calls genuine marble, filed on the site under Ramps, which it plainly isn't.
It is a short listing. That's fine — most obstacle listings are — but it means the decision rests on a handful of confirmed facts and a pile of things you'd want to know before stone gets put in a box and posted to you.
