The most common upgrade question in fingerboarding is also the least glamorous: the deck is fine, the trucks are tolerable, and the wheels that came on the complete are hollow-sounding plastic that chatter across a table and stop dead on a seam. The usual next rung is a set of urethane wheels on bearings, and that rung is often more expensive than the board underneath it.
Slushcult has a wheel on that rung at $10. The Grom is not a new model — the white version was already on slushcult.com in September 2023, at $8 — but its yellow and white colorways went back up on the Santa Ana shop in late September, the white on September 23 and the yellow on September 28. The listing describes 100-duro plastic wheels, CNC machined, in a classic street shape, with precision bearings. Both colorways were $10 and in stock when we checked on October 10. That is the whole of what the brand has said.
