DKFB's Aboriginal Flag complete is listed at Radical in two shapes

The two shapes are the real decision, and the listing gives you shape names and widths but no wheelbase, concave or kick measurements. So treat this as general width guidance rather than a spec comparison.

If you're coming off a 32–33mm deck

Street Shape at 34.5mm is the smaller step. Half a millimetre either side of what your fingers already know is barely a readjustment, and street shapes are the familiar reference point for flip tricks on tape.

If you ride wide already, or you ride parks

Cruiser Shape at 35mm gives more deck under the fingers, which some riders find steadier for manuals and transition lines. Wider is not better or worse — it's a preference, and plenty of good riders sit at either end.

One mismatch to be aware of: the shop's tags on this listing read 33.5mm, 34mm and 35mm, while the variants actually offered are 34.5mm and 35mm. Tags on a Shopify listing are a filing system, not a stock list. Go by the variant dropdown.

Split ply is contrasting veneers cut and recombined so the pattern runs through the layup rather than sitting on the surface as a print. That's why a split ply graphic survives slides and grinds in a way a bottom print doesn't: you're looking at wood, not ink. What the listing doesn't say is how the flag's colors are arranged in the plies, or which woods DK used — "5 ply of the finest woods" is the whole description.

The rest of the deck copy is the brand's own claim, and worth reading as such: DK says the decks are individually handcrafted and that the moulding technique holds the shape and makes them more rigid, giving "increased pop and response". Rigidity-to-pop is a reasonable claim for a pressed five ply; it isn't a measured one, and nobody has published numbers on it.

• Treating the tag widths as the options. 33.5mm is tagged; it isn't in the variant list.
• Assuming a restock means ongoing stock. The listing calls the deck limited edition, and the Cruiser Shape 35mm / Black configuration is now backordered.
• Expecting a gripped deck. One sheet of foam tape is included. Applied, as far as the listing says, is on you.
• Buying the shape your favorite rider uses. 34.5 and 35 are close enough that finger size and what you ride most should decide it, not a clip.
• Forgetting the tool is part of the kit. The yellow tool comes with the hardware; you don't need to source a separate one to set the trucks up.

The complete is listed on Radical's own site — the DKFB Aboriginal Flag complete product page is where the current variants and price sit, and the rest of the shop's stock is at radicalfingerboards.com.au.

Where to go from here

If this is your first complete, set it up stock and ride it for a few weeks before you change anything: foam on, trucks snug but not locked, and leave the bushings alone until you know what you want them to do. If it's a second setup, the interesting part is the deck — a split ply you can actually wear in, where the graphic is the layup rather than something that slides off the bottom on a ledge.
