You are standing over two product pages with real money in hand. Deli Trux Type 2 Blasted are $45. Dynamic's Dual Edition 34mm are $56. The only number both pages agree on is 34 mm.
That number is a deck spec wearing a truck's clothes. It says the hanger is cut for a board of roughly that width. It says nothing about whether the wheels already in your parts tin will seat square, whether the axle nut will find enough thread to lock, whether your bushing stack will clear the kingpin, or whether the board will sit a hair higher than the setup you are used to.
Eight pieces deep into our bench coverage this autumn, that gap has opened in the same place every time. It is not one brand being cagey. It is a category that never agreed on what a truck listing is supposed to contain.
